Racks

Battery banks of Narada batteries can be provided with steel racks. These are especially designed for the batteries and are supplied with appropriate cables.

For the 6V batteries, i.e. for 6REXC-300 product, a rack is available only for the 48V sets.

For the 2V batteries, i.e.  for REXC-300, REXC-600, and REXC-1000 batteries there are racks for the 24V and 48V sets. The 48V battery banks can be either 4 layers or 6 layers high.

Installation details for the 2V battery racks are provided below, as well as schematic diagrams for them all.

Specifications of all racks

All Narada battery bank racks are constructed from carbon-coated steel and are held together with stainless steel bolts.

These are of rugged design and can be firmly secured to walls to meet seismic restraint requirements.

The racks for 6V batteries are 2 layers high, while those for 2V batteries are either 4 or 6 rows high, see examples in the photographs and in the schematics shown in Documentation below.

Narada batteries can be mounted in any position, including simply on the floor.

However racking is available for larger sets. These each have a schematic diagram available in the Documentation section on the left. The 48V racks for sets of 6V batteries are 2 layers high while the 24V or 48V  banks of 2 volt batteries are either 4 or 6 layers.
