Narada REXC-1000

The Narada REXC-1000 is a 2V 1000Ah deep cycle sealed lead-carbon battery to provide 48kWh maximum capacity at 48V at the 10 hour discharge rate, or 57.6kWh at 48V at the 120 hour discharge rate.

This can be supplied in these sets:

  • a 24V bank of 12 batteries, e.g. for medium houses
  • a 48V bank of 24 batteries, e.g for large off-grid houses.

All batteries come with cables, and 24V and 48V battery banks can be supplied with a powder coated steel rack.

These are valve regulated sealed batteries and so do not require maintenance such as topping up with water. They can also be mounted in any position unlike flooded lead-acid batteries.

1200 Ah at C120 (120 hr discharge rate) 56 kWh for bank of 24
231mm long x 282mm wide by 508mm high
75kg each with M8 threaded terminals
Cycle life 2400 at 80% depth of discharge (see table in images)
Peak charge current 300A
Max. constant charge current 150A
Bulk charge voltage 55.2V
Float 54.0V

A 48V  battery set comes with high quality interconnecting cables for linking 24 cells into a 48V set and a mounting rack as shown in the drawings, see documentation below.

To take full advantage of these batteries and to ensure a long service life your solar system must be sized correctly, e.g. for a 48V set of these batteries you should have at least 8000W of panels. This 48V set is suitable for a larger off-grid house. For a smaller house, tiny house or shed we have Narada 2V REXC-600 batteries giving 34kWh at 48V and 2V REXC-300 giving 17kWh at 48V.

We can also supply Narada racking systems for this battery, available here.
