Narada REXC-600

The Narada REXC-600 is a 2V 600Ah deep cycle sealed lead-carbon battery to provide 28.8 kWh maximum capacity at 48V at the 10 hour discharge rate, or 34.5 kWh at 48V qt the 120 hour discharge rate.

This can be supplied in these sets:

  • a 24V bank of 12 batteries, e.g. for small houses
  • a 48V bank of 24 batteries, e.g for full-sized off-grid houses.

All batteries come with cables, and the 48V bank can be supplied with a steel rack.

These are valve regulated sealed batteries and so do not require maintenance such as topping up with water. They can also be mounted in any position unlike flooded lead-acid batteries.

Specifications (per battery)

Specifications (per battery):
2V VRLA AGM sealed Lead Carbon
600 Ah at C10 (10 hr discharge rate)
720 Ah at C120 (120 hr discharge rate)
231mm long x 180mm wide by 408mm high
46kg with M8 threaded terminals
Cycle life 2400 at 80% depth of discharge (see table in images). This is 2 to 3 times that of typical lead acid deep cycle batteries.

Each set of batteries comes with high quality interconnecting links and cables for linking up 12 cells into a 24V set, and a powder coated steel mounting rack (assembly required).

To take full advantage of these batteries and to ensure a long service life your solar system must be sized correctly: e.g. for a 48V set of these batteries you should have at least 5000W of panels. This 48V set is suitable for a smaller off-grid house or shed. For a larger house we have Narada 2V REXC-600 batteries giving 28kWh at 48V.

We can also supply Narada racking systems for this battery, available here.
