Narada 6REXC-300

The Narada 6REXC-300 is a 6V 300Ah deep cycle sealed lead-carbon battery to provide 1.8kW maximum capacity (300Ah) at 6V (based on 100 hour discharge rate).

This can be supplied as a single battery or in these sets:

  • a 12V pair of batteries, ideal for small huts, sheds, pump stations
  • a 24V bank of six batteries, e.g. for tiny houses
  • a 48V bank of eight batteries, e.g for medium-sized off-grid houses.

All batteries come with cables, and the 48V bank can be supplied with a steel rack.

These are valve regulated sealed batteries and so do not require maintenance such as topping up with water. They can also be mounted in any position unlike flooded lead-acid batteries.

Specifications (per battery)

  • 6V VRLA AGM sealed Lead Carbon
  • 250 Ah at C10 (10 hour discharge rate)
  • 300 Ah at C100 (100 hour discharge rate)
  • 338mm long x 224mm wide by 294mm high
  • 61kg with M8 threaded terminals
  • Cycle life 5000 at 50% depth or discharge or 2400 at 80%

12V: 3.6kWh energy at 100 hour discharge rate to 100% DoD for a bank of 2 batteries in series, at 12V or 3kWh at the 10 hour discharge rate.

24V: 7.2kWh energy at 100 hour discharge rate to 100% DoD for a bank of 4 batteries in series, at 24V or 6kWh at the 10 hour discharge rate.

48v: 14.4kWh energy at 10 hour discharge rate to 100% DoD for a bank of 8 batteries in series at 48V or 12kWh at the 10 hour discharge rate.

To take full advantage of these batteries and to ensure a long service life your solar system must be sized correctly: e.g. for a 48V set of these batteries you should have at least 2200W of panels. This 48V set is suitable for a smaller off-grid house or shed. For a larger house we have Narada 2V REXC-600 batteries giving 28kWh at 48V.

We can also supply Narada racking systems for this battery, available here.
